We're convinced Gwenda Olm was one of those people for whom they coined the term ‘to know her was to love her’.
She was a devoted wife, mother, aunty, and friend who is dearly missed by so many family members, friends, and the general community. She has a special place in our hearts, and we are proud to be journeying across the desert with her along for the ride - it’s guaranteed to be fun with Gwenda on board!
Gwenda’s daughters Tess and Sharon remember her as a devoted wife and Mother.
"She was truly amazing with deep love for family and fun times, she had so much love to give to everyone she knew. Mum always made sure her gardens were perfect with not a single flower out of line. She had a love of gardens, fun times & beer ❤️"
Cheryl can tell you first-hand what an incredible Sister-in-Law Gwenda was.
Cheryl remembers Gwenda as completely devoted to her family and her husband, Greg. "Gwenda just loved to have her immediate and extended family around her. She also loved to garden and kept her plants growing through rain and drought."
Gwenda was the ‘Face of Relay’ for the first Relay for Life event in Chinchilla, organised by Cheryl. "One of my favourite memories is her smiling face on the back of the float. Gwenda left a huge hole in people's lives when she left us."
Jo remembers Gwenda as the amazing Mum of her dear friends Sharon & Tess.
"She was always up for anything and managed to bring fun and laughter to any occasion. Her love and unwavering devotion to family has lived on through the incredible relationship now shared by her husband and adult children…this bond is a privilege to bear witness to."
